Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) is Malaysia’s premier meeting and convention venue. First in exclusivity.  First in the number and variety of its venues. First in access and connectivity. First in green practices. As important as all those are, PICC has one further come to fulfillment : the world’s first Intelligent Garden City, Putrajaya.

PICC rises majestically from the top of Putrajaya’s highest point, and amidst a prestigious enclave of residential neighbourhoods and waterfront developments. It is both an iconic landmark that overlooks Malaysia’s seat of government and one that incorporates a modern, spacious and incredibly versatile design. Yet it also embodies a further, cultural dimension. Its most imposing architectural feature is the roof, designed to resemble a pending perak, the ornate handcrafted silver regalia worn on ceremonial occasions by the sultans of Malaysia; representing power and authority. The main halls are set in the “eye” of the pending.

PICC comprises 49 discrete venues with an impressive 1.3 million square feet of usable space of usable space on nine levels of conference space : Plenary Hall, Perdana Hall (Banquet), Head of States Hall, 2 Multipurpose Halls, 10 Conference  Halls, 4 Meeting Rooms, Exhibition Booths for 500 ( 3x3 sqm booth), 3 Viewing Deck and 14 Suites.

With state-of-the-art facilities : Wireless LAN, wireless simultaneous interpretation system, video conferencing, provision for television broadcast and coverage, holographic rear projection system, video and billboard messaging, facilities and event management; and audio/video tie-ins with live telecast option.
